President of the USA
President Margaret Roselyn is many things to many people. To her political opponents, she is a liar, a thief, and an idiot. To her supporters, on the other hand, she is the embodiment of political savvy, cunning, and determination. Many can agree, however, that despite her political leanings, her life story is an inspirational one. Born to a single mother, President Roselyn was raised in abject poverty in rural Kansas. Despite a hard home life, she was always the brightest student in her class, and was awarded a full Scholarship to Harvard upon graduation from high school. In college she triple majored in Philosophy, Business, and Biology, and despite the onerous course load, she managed to graduate in three years, taking classes each summer in addition to the traditional academic year. After College she enlisted in the Air Force and went to Officer Training school. She rapidly ascended the ranks to become the first female 4-star General in the Air Force. Following the initiation of the “War on Terror” after September 11, the mood of the country shifted. She saw that the people wanted a wartime leader, and she saw a place for herself as the President. Following a hard-fought campaign, she was elected to be the first female President of the United States. Since that time her political opponents have been very vocal about their feelings. They accuse her of bringing too much militarism to government. Her supporters say she is protecting the safety of the nation. Her re-election is rapidly approaching, and it appears that it is going to be a hard-fought campaign.
