Through the ages there have been beings of power. Angels, Demons, Outsiders, but the ones that are physically closest to humanity have always been the dragons. The great wyrms who’s power shatters reality and the stuff of legends, but don’t let those legends fool you. There have only been a handful of men and women throughout recorded history, written and verbal, that have been able to stand against the might of the dragon. Mr. Gold is the name that the dragon Sorrilax has decided upon for this incarnation as a mortal. Mr. Gold has lead the Central Intelligence Agency since it’s inseption. He takes a new form and name every fifty or sixty years but it has always been this ancient lizard that has run the secret gathering organization for one of the mightiest nations on earth. Indeed, if information is power, Mr. Gold occupies one of the most powerful positions on the globe. While he is not immune to the gold lust that inspires his kind to gather large amounts of treasures together, his is not soley based in the realm of monetary value. Sorrilax is a connoisseur of most of the worlds pleasures. His trove, located undoubtedly somewhere in the Washington D.C. area, is filled with not only gold, silver, and jewels, but also with art, women, and a veritable plethora of information. While some of the people involved in the information may be dead, it’s value is still legit. Want to know about Roswell? The JFK Assassination? Why Booth killed Lincoln? Where the Holy Grail of Christ is? Chances are that Sorrilax has them squirrled away deep in his trove of wonders. There is one final thing that must be said as far as Sorrilax or Mr. Gold is concerned. Never forget that he is a force of nature, an immortal being with godlike powers. Cross him at your own peril, it’s been a while since he tasted human.
