That Place We Used That Time

That
From time to time, operatives of the C.I.A. find themselves in need of a place…..off the grid. They need that time to wind down, to get away, or to hole up from the two squads of Russian Spetsnaz that are trying to find you and violently “relocate” you to Siberia for questioning. At times like these Chuck Finley and Michael Silver like to use this lovely industrial building. From the outside it doesn’t appear to be much, in fact, it is meant to look that way. Concealed throughout the buildings’ exterior are false paneling that allows heat sensitive security cameras an excellent view of the outside premises. Standard security cameras are present atop the roof looking down and the roof itself has been mined with pressure sensitive plates to detect anything more than a few pounds. The inside of the building is every spy’s wet dream. They have a panic room that doubles as the sleeping quarters for whoever is staying at the moment complete with one way access to the sewers for a quick escape, they have several interrogation rooms decorated in various motifs from “cargo container” to “off the books interrogation center”, they have a limited armory (usually handguns, a few submachine guns, and two full assault rifles, some concussion and flash grenades, and a little homemade c-4), and finally a security room that monitors most if not all ways of entering the building. Basically, if it’s needed in a hideout, this place has it. All in all, it’s as safe as you could want with the ameneties that are needed for good fieldcrafting.
